Trash pickup:

In Liberty Creek South, trash is collected every Friday unless delayed due to weather conditions or holidays. Most likely if a holiday is during the business week then all trash collection is delayed by one day (thus, trash would be collected on Friday of that week).

Holidays are: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

If you have a large amount of trash or large objects, refer to the heavy trash pickup page.

Also, ToxDrop is used for hazardous or toxic waste material. It is located at the Traders Point Collection Facility at 7550 Lafayette Rd. and is open the 1st & 3rd Saturday of each month from 9am- 2pm.

Recycling:

Residents wishing not to participate in the program or with questions about their recycling services should call Republic Services at (317) 917-7300.

Also, the closest drop-off recycling container is located at Northwestway Park near 62nd & Moller Rd. The drop-off site accept glass, #1 & #2 plastics, aluminum, tin, steel beverage and food cans, newspapers and magazines. But please, do not leave recyclables in plastic bags.
